Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalog, click on any items that you wish to buy and add them to the shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, enter your shopping basket and click on “Proceed to Checkout”. You will then be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

IMPORTANT NOTE! Customers from outside of Europe should place their orders online and await a shipping quotation. You will then be asked for payment of the total before we can satisfy the order.

Shipping And Handling

All shipments are insured.  It is the duty of the recipient to check that the item has arrived in an undamaged condition BEFORE signing for safe receipt.  Any damage should be highlighted to the delivery driver and reported to xact audio design immediately.

PLEASE NOTE: Large items are delivered by courier. Delivery will be attempted twice and on each occasion the courier will leave a card with instructions on how to collect your goods or re arrange delivery. If you fail to contact the courier to arrange re-delivery or collection from their local depot the goods will be returned to us. If this happens we will levy a 25GBP admin fee and you will be required to pay the cost of re-delivery if required.

REMEMBER when ordering goods ensure that there will be someone at the delivery address to accept and sign for goods or to respond to any card left by the courier within 24hrs.

Delivery Schedule

All large or high value items are shipped via courier following receipt of cleared funds. Small low value items are shipped using Royal Mail. We ship Monday to Friday.  Orders taken over a weekend period will be processed on Mondays. We will notify you if any item you have ordered is out of stock for more than three days.

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock for more than 3 days, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges

For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 20% VAT is included in our prices. All other orders are VAT free and you should click the exempt button to reduce VAT to zero.

Credit Card Security

xact audio design uses Barclay’s merchant services with third party credit card handling by PayPal for your complete security. In order to make a successful transaction you MUST provide your card billing address and landline telephone number. Transactions which do not pass the address security check, will be refunded and cancelled. This is for the protection of the cardholder.

For your further security we operate the Verified by Mastercard/Visa security system to allow customers to use their online credit card password.

Returns

We can only accept cancellations for orders via email,  or in writing to ensure your details are secure, a telephone call is not notice of cancellation. You have fourteen working days to cancel from conclusion of the contract. In all cases the goods must be returned at the cost of the purchaser and reasonable care taken to keep the product in as new condition. The item must be returned as packaged when sent with sealed bags etc un-opened and all manuals and accessories must be included in order to qualify for a refund. Items that have been used or “tried out” in any way cannot be returned.  Goods returned which have been opened and are not in a new condition are not eligible for a full refund. Special order items cannot be returned. We will always refund within thirty days of cancellation. Shipping costs are non refundable. We are unable to accept returned books or software once opened unless faulty. Software compatibility is the responsibility of the purchaser.

Return of Faulty Goods

If you have ordered via telephone or online and believe the goods to be faulty please contact us immediately as many problems can be resolved easily. In all cases you are required to contact us prior to returning any faulty goods to obtain a returns number. If the goods are faulty you can return the goods for refund or replacement. Shipping costs are not covered under the guarantee unless goods are damaged on arrival, in which case collection can be arranged. Items sent back without following these instructions may be marked return to sender and will not be processed.
